Membrane Support Substrate
Polyester Non-woven Fabric
"Water treatment membrane" is a general term for separation membranes that separate and remove impurities contained in water.
They are used in applications such as seawater desalination, industrial water purification, sewage treatment plants, and water purifiers.
The membrane support substrates are a type of support material that adds strength to separation membranes that are not strong enough
on their own.
The functional layer is coated on the substrate.
In order to enhance the qualities of separation membranes, the quality standards for membrane support substrates are extremely high.
Our wet-laid a technology offers excellent uniformity and stability, and has been widely used as Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane substrate, allowing our customers to greatly enhance its qualities. We also offer and customize wet-laid nonwovens for applications such as MF, UF, and NF according to customer needs.
Applications
RO: Reverse Osmosis
NF: Nano Filtration
UF: Ultra Filtration
MF: Micro Filtration

Polyolefin Non-woven Fabric
We have applied our experience and expertise to develop polyolefin wet-laid nonwovens with excellent resistance to alkalis (Fig.1, 2), acids (Fig.3, 4) and other chemicals. They contain a heat-sealing property and can easily be combined as a backing for other types of materials such as breathable film or membrane materials (PTFE, PES, etc.).
